The names, locations, attacks, and items are from the wiki so i went back and changed all of them all the SC.BIN and SP.BIN are scripts. Everything else is names, items, menus, etc in case you still want to use a text hooker The interface can be used on version 1 or 2 of the game thanks to the wiki for providing for general game info -er0gamr New text hooker friendly individual patches. Download the latest version at the NekoHen site.
This one's a blessing. Just a few days ago I decided to finally try this game and when I wandered on the forums for trips and tricks, you had just released these. I've been slowly playing the game since and using this patch. All the work is much appreciated, it really makes it easier to enjoy the game. I ended up not using either the SP. or SC. files and going with a text hooker instead.
Primary reason was that this caused some crashes in places where dialogue should start. The bookshelves early in prologue are an example of one such a place, ran into at least one another, can't remember where though. The text was also a bit low on the window for some reason, feels like it could be moved upwards by like a line width. This was mostly an issue, since the English text is longer than the Japanese, so some of the text ends up bleeding outside the box. You can still see the rest of the text in the chatlog, so not a massive problem. When I installed this I ended up getting a popup error message now and then with Japanese text and 'Yes' and 'No' boxes. Clicking Yes would let me continue playing, so not a massive problem but still annoying.
This lead me to do some testing, adding parts of the translation into the installation bit by bit to find the problem file and I've narrowed it down to either SYS4AB.BIN or SYS4RK.BIN. When I added those I started getting the popups again.
Haven't had the time to check which one it is yet. I don't know what translations those files contain, but been playing without them for about a third of the first chapter and everything is working swimmingly.
If you need a screen of the error, let me know. Other than that I haven't ran into any problems apart from the standard ones with machine translations. Again, this is really appreciated, having the interface in English really smooths out the playing experience and makes it more enjoyable. This one's a blessing. You dont need the files that start with SYS (no text on those). Those files are dependent on your game version so if you have an older version you can delete them to avoid the error.
I have the latest. I think its v2.01 and the append. Edit: Apparently you already got a reply on how to fix that. Ninja'd and all that.
Yeah, seems like the same error. Did you actually restore your original sys files from the initial installation or just delete the new ones? Probably you restored and it's a stupid question, but best cover all bases.
If you just delete them you're bound to get all sorts of errors. I'm playing on 2.01 with the appendix btw. Just for the record. Dailymotion closed caption er.
Question for the OP: Do you happen to know which files have the item and skill descriptions? Are those different from the ones that have item names? I want to keep the names translated, but the descriptions kinda get jumbled by the translation since they're lists with numbers, so if possible I'd personally keep those in Japanese and let my own translator handle them since I can parse the text better.
Invizimals shadow zone psp cso games. Would make it easier to figure out what exactly some of the stuff does, though usually that's not that important and deducible from the in game translations as well. I'm not entirely sure this is where it would be best to post this inquiry, but here goes. Every Eushully game I play (Himegari, Kamidori, etc) the game will work perfectly fine until I get into a map and when I step on anything (treasure icon, recovery feather, mob) the game will momentarily freeze then unfreeze. Unfortunately, despite unfreezing I cannot click on anything at all. I can still use key commands like ESC to return to the title or exit, but I cannot continue the game.
Now, the only exception to this rule is the portals that allow you to withdraw those work fine. It seems anything that has a pop-up or 'more advanced' animation it breaks. Specs: OS - Windows 7 ultimate Graphics card - Vapor-x r9 290 4gb Processor - AMD fx 8350 RAM - 2 x 4gb G.SKILL ripjaw This break actually happened on my kamidori save and to troubleshoot I downloaded himegari dungeon w/e and it still happens. It doesn't appear to be an issue of installation.
