Hmm, the texttrack API was released with IE10, so it should work. Is it the example that's linked to that doesn't work, or when you run the code locally. There's a hitch in IE where if you're viewing a page locally or on an intranet, it reverts to an IE7 feature set.
Starsat 2000hd hyper new software. You should get captions on the link to the sample, as it's all served off the web. To do it locally, you can add a line in the section: This forces IE to recognize the page under the latest standards.
Let me know if this isn't the case. I have uploaded your above stuff to my Web space with an own video. The TTML captioning works perfectly in MS10 Edge but in MS10 IE11 unfortunately it does not work, no captions with TTML. At Win 10 IE 11 the alternatively installed vtt stuff works.
But there is a problem with my video. The captions at IE 11 vtt are at a fixed spot which cannot be moved. Unfortunately overlay the caption lines static parts of my video that do not give enough contrast to identify the contents of the vtt captions. It is Microsoft with best regards from Bill Gates. Nothing works as expected.
Closed Caption Software
Vtt at IE edge does not provide line breaks for longer caption lines. If the video container ends, the rest of the caption is aborted. That I could solve with TTML, fortunately. Regards from Thailand Siegfried.
